How-To

I originally was inspired by The Pirate Fairy (Death's Beauty) while I was drawing a picture of a fairy while watching a tv series called Black Sails, based on the golden age of piracy (awesome series, by the way). One of the pirates was a woman named Anne Bonny. I thought to myself, why not create a pirate fairy? So that’s what I did…

It starts with a master sketch. Then I import the drawing into the computer and paint it digitally.
